Placements24 is seeking an experienced DeFi Protocol Engineer to join its East London team in a hybrid role. You will design, develop, and deploy DeFi protocols and applications on the blockchain, focusing on secure, scalable financial products that leverage tokenomics and Web3 tech.

The ideal candidate will have strong Solidity expertise, real-world DeFi experience, and a passion for financial innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DeFi Protocol Engineer.
• Strong Solidity and Web3 development skills.
• Deep knowledge of AMMs, liquidity pools, and staking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DeFi protocols, including lending platforms, DEXs, and yield farming.
• Develop and optimize smart contracts for security and gas efficiency.
• Integrate DeFi protocols with blockchain infrastructure and external services.
• Conduct testing, auditing, and deployment of DeFi applications.
• Collaborate on tokenomics design and economic modeling.
• Stay updated on DeFi trends and innovations.
