Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled DeFi Protocol Engineer to design, develop and deploy decentralized finance protocols as a fully remote contributor. You will work on lending/borrowing, DEXs, and AMMs, writing secure Solidity smart contracts and optimizing gas usage.

You will collaborate with researchers, monitor deployed protocols, and contribute to documentation and open-source projects, with a focus on security, performance, and innovative yield strategies within the Crypto &

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Finance, or related quantitative field.
3+ years in software development, with at least 2 years focused on DeFi protocol or smart contract engineering.
Strong understanding of DeFi concepts, tokenomics, and financial mathematics.
Proficiency in Solidity and experience with EVM-compatible blockchains.
Familiarity with AMMs and yield optimization strategies.
Experience with security best practices for smart contracts.

Responsibilities

Design and implement core DeFi protocols, including lending/borrowing platforms, DEXs, and stablecoin mechanisms.
Develop secure and efficient smart contracts for DeFi applications using Solidity.
Conduct rigorous testing, auditing, and optimization of DeFi protocols for security and gas efficiency.
Collaborate with research teams to explore and integrate new DeFi primitives and financial concepts.
Monitor deployed protocols, identify risks, and implement upgrades or patches.
Contribute to the community through documentation and open-source development.
