Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Data Scientist, with a focus on building and deploying predictive models.
• Strong programming skills in Python or R, including libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Pandas.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with concepts in the Oil & Gas industry is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models for predictive maintenance, production forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Analyze large, complex datasets from various sources (IoT sensors, operational logs, geological surveys) to extract actionable insights.
• Design and implement data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, cleaning, and feature engineering.
• Collaborate with domain experts in the Oil & Gas sector to understand business needs and translate them into data science solutions.
• Communicate complex findings and model results to technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
