Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Data Analyst to join their insights team in the FMCG sector. You will collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to consumer behaviour, market trends, and sales performance, using SQL, Python, and BI tools.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration across marketing, sales, and product development, with a focus on turning complex data into actionable recommendations and driving business improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years as Data Analyst/BI Analyst in FMCG preferred.
• Proficient in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), R or similar.
• Strong data visualization skills: Tableau/Power BI/Looker.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organise large datasets from multiple sources.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business.
• Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to support data needs.
• Improve data quality and integrity across datasets.
