Job summary

Princess Cruise Line is hiring a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to manage the setup and ingestion of diverse external data streams for clinical trials. You will coordinate with labs, imaging, EHR, wearables, and other digital sources, ensuring compliant data transfer and proper mapping.

You will draft Data Transfer Agreements, perform UAT, and monitor data availability and quality across streams, while liaising with stakeholders to meet protocol timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing data in support of clinical research.
• Experience with external data e.g., ECG, labs, imaging, EHR, wearables is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Assess external data collection requirements per protocol and plan setup activities to meet study timelines.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to define data transfer, ingestion, and structure per data models.
• Create change requests for defining new data concepts or structures.
• Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements documenting study requirements and methods.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet study requirements (monitoring and reporting).
• Liaise with external data providers to align on tsDTA.
• Translate medical concepts into data mapping guidance for clinical programmers.
• UAT of test data transfers to ensure alignment with data specifications.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms into the data repository (CDR).
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams with providers.
