Job summary

CDW is seeking a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data to manage the definition, setup and ingestion of external data streams for clinical trials, including labs, imaging, EHR and wearables, all within regulatory guidelines.

You will work with data stewards and vendors to define data models and transfer agreements, ensure accurate data transfer into the CDR, and monitor data availability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Assess external data collection requirements per protocol and plan setup activities to meet study timelines.
• Liaise with key data stakeholders to establish data transfer and structure requirements in compliance with data protection laws.
• Create change requests for the definition of new test concepts or data structures.
• Develop trial-specific Data Transfer Agreements documenting data transfer, ingestion and structure.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet the agreed requirements for data review, monitoring and reporting.
• Liaise with external data providers to ensure alignment and agreement of tsDTA.
• Translate medical and scientific concepts into data mapping guidance in the annotated Data Transfer Agreement.
• UAT of test data transfers to ensure accuracy with Data Transfer Agreements specifications.
• Implement data transfer mechanisms for external data streams (into CDR) including access for providers.
• Monitor availability and accuracy of external data streams and resolve data transfer issues.
