Job summary

Jobgether, a profitable, fully remote SaaS company, is seeking a Customer Success Lead based in South Africa. You will manage high-value accounts, shape onboarding, and drive retention while leveraging AI to streamline workflows.

The role offers strategic ownership and potential to lead a CS team as the business grows. You will collaborate with the Head of Customer Success to define segmentation, portfolios, and playbooks, enabling scalable customer management across industries such as

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in Customer Success, Account Management, Implementation, or Onboarding.
• Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency and automate workflows.
• Experience developing customer success strategies including segmentation and portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of health indicators, onboarding, and product adoption.
• Mentorship or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret usage data and drive decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain complex concepts.
• Empathy and relationship-building with diverse customers.
• Proactive ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Adaptability in a fast-changing environment with competing priorities.
• Ability to collaborate remotely with product, sales, support, and engineering.
• Afrikaans communication would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define customer segmentation and portfolio structures, prioritising accounts by value and risk.
• Guide onboarding from signup to successful adoption and establish consistent usage habits.
• Monitor customer health indicators and act on potential risks.
• Lead conversations with at-risk customers to improve retention.
• Develop and optimise CS tools, workflows, and playbooks for efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to routine tasks and data analysis.
• Organise customer check-ins, training sessions and Q&A to drive product adoption.
• Create knowledge guides and best practices from recurring questions.
• Share actionable customer insights with Product, Sales and Support.
• Collaborate with internal teams to reflect customer needs in decisions.
• Contribute to building a scalable CS function and mentor colleagues.
