About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Remote Curriculum Developer to design and develop cutting-edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) educational content. You will be responsible for creating engaging, effective, and standards-aligned curricula for various educational levels, from primary to secondary school. The role demands a deep understanding of pedagogical principles, curriculum design methodologies, and current trends in STEM education. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive STEM curricula, lesson plans, and learning resources for various age groups and learning contexts.
• Ensure all developed curricula align with national and international educational standards and learning objectives.
• Create engaging and interactive learning activities, assessments, and educational games.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and pedagogical soundness of content.
• Incorporate best practices in instructional design, digital learning, and educational technology into curriculum development.
• Write clear, concise, and engaging content for various learning materials, including textbooks, online modules, and teacher guides.
• Review and revise existing curriculum materials to improve effectiveness and relevance.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables for curriculum development projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the client's curriculum development processes and standards.
• Stay informed about emerging trends and innovations in STEM education and digital learning.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Design, STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational content creation, with a strong focus on STEM subjects.
• Demonstrated ability to design engaging and effective learning experiences for K-12 students.
• In-depth knowledge of pedagogical theories, learning sciences, and instructional design models.
• Familiarity with national and international curriculum frameworks and assessment standards.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for content creation and collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous curriculum development work is highly recommended.
