About the Role

Our client, a leading innovator in digital education, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Curriculum Developer specializing in STEM subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining engaging and effective STEM curricula for a global audience. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative, standards-aligned STEM curricula (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) for various age groups and learning levels, primarily for online delivery.
• Create engaging learning content, including lesson plans, interactive exercises, assessments, multimedia resources, and project-based learning activities.
• Collaborate remotely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to ensure accuracy, pedagogical soundness, and engaging presentation of content.
• Adapt existing curricula for digital platforms, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and user experience best practices.
• Conduct thorough research on emerging trends in STEM education and digital learning to inform curriculum design.
• Develop assessment strategies and tools to measure student comprehension and skill acquisition effectively.
• Write clear, concise, and instructive content for learners and educators.
• Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide feedback and revisions on content developed by other team members.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the client's digital learning products and services.

Requirements

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or in Education with a strong STEM focus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching, with a significant portion focused on STEM subjects.
• Proven experience in designing and developing online learning materials and digital curricula.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical principles for adult learning and online education.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and various digital content creation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote work setting.
