Placements24 is assisting a growing international tech company in South Africa to hire a Remote Corporate Compliance Officer. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere in SA, including George, Western Cape, and you will build and maintain the company’s compliance framework, policies, risk assessments, training programs, and regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of corporate compliance experience, deep knowledge of SA laws and regulatory regimes, strong analytical

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate compliance or related regulatory experience.
• Strong knowledge of South African corporate laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and training abilities.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with compliance software.
• Experience in the tech industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the company's corporate compliance program.
• Ensure adherence to laws, regs, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities.
• Deliver compliance training to employees at all levels.
• Monitor and audit compliance activities across the org.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues and breaches.
• Prepare regulatory filings and reports.
• Advise management on compliance matters and best practices.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.
