Placements24 is seeking a senior Corporate Communications Manager to lead our client's internal and external communications strategy from a remote South Africa base, with occasional travel to Centurion, Gauteng. You will shape messaging, media relations, and executive communications, while guiding senior leadership on reputation management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in corporate communications or senior roles.
• Proven track record managing corporate communication strategies for large organizations, including crisis communication.
• Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
• Manage media relations, crisis communications, press releases, and spokesperson preparation.
• Oversee creation of annual reports, sustainability reports, website copy, and executive speeches.
• Lead internal communications to inform, engage, and align employees with values and objectives.
• Advise senior management on communication strategies and reputational risks.
• Monitor media landscape and identify opportunities and threats to the company's reputation.
• Manage corporate social media presence and online reputation.
• Organize shareholder meetings, press conferences, and other corporate events.
• Build relationships with media, investors, and community leaders.
