Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Contract Specialist to join our procurement team. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage lifecycles, and ensure compliance while supporting operations virtually, including coverage for the Benoni-area engagements.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in contract management or related fields, strong knowledge of contract law and risk assessment, and proficiency with contract management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in contract management, paralegal work, or procurement with a focus on contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation principles, and risk management.
• Proficiency with contract management software and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage a high volume of contracts, and meet strict deadlines in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of procurement-related contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, and master supply agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, including tracking key dates, renewals, amendments, and terminations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors regarding contractual matters.
• Conduct risk assessments of contract terms and identify potential areas of concern or opportunity.
• Maintain a centralized repository of all contracts, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
