Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Construction Procurement Specialist to drive sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. You will negotiate favorable terms, manage contracts, and ensure timely delivery while operating entirely from a remote location.

The role requires strong procurement and supply chain expertise, exceptional negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, preferably in the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction materials and services.
• Source, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Manage procurement contracts, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to understand material and equipment needs.
