Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Community Outreach Program Manager to lead initiatives in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. This fully remote role focuses on designing, implementing, and overseeing outreach projects that meet community needs and promote social well-being.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in program management or outreach, a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field, and strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and remote team leadership skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, community development, or outreach coordination.
Proven ability to design, implement, and manage community programs from inception to completion.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working remotely and managing dispersed teams is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic community outreach programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
Identify target communities and key stakeholders for program engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, government agencies, and other partners.
Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Oversee program staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
Develop and implement strategies for program promotion and participant recruitment.
Monitor program progress, collect data, and generate reports on outcomes and impact.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
