Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Coastal/Marine specialization.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in design of coastal/marine structures.
- Proficiency in hydrodynamics, structural analysis and geotechnical assessment software.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze coastal and marine structures, considering wave action and seabed conditions.
- Develop technical specifications, drawings and tender docs for marine projects.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new marine infrastructure developments.
- Ensure designs comply with international and SA maritime standards.
- Provide expert advice remotely to clients and project teams.
- Manage project risks, quality control and stakeholder engagement.
