About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions tailored to specific client business needs across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Evaluate client requirements and recommend appropriate cloud services, technologies, and architectures. Develop high-level and detailed technical designs, including infrastructure, application, and data architectures. Lead the technical direction for cloud migration projects and digital transformation initiatives. Provide expert guidance on cloud best practices, security, cost optimisation, and performance tuning. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of cloud solutions. Create and present technical proposals, architectural diagrams, and strategy documents to clients and stakeholders. Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies, trends, and services, and incorporate them into architectural designs. Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, resilience, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

Extensive experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar senior technical role, designing and implementing complex cloud solutions. Deep expertise in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their core services and managed offerings. Strong understanding of microservices architecture, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless computing, and CI/CD principles. Proven experience in migrating complex on-premise applications and infrastructure to the cloud. Excellent understanding of networking, security, database technologies, and data management in cloud environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work autonomously and lead technical initiatives in a remote setting. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
