Job summary

Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will define security blueprints, enforce controls, and ensure secure deployment of cloud services, while leading innovation in cloud security.

You will collaborate with development and operations to embed security into the CI/CD pipeline, conduct cloud security reviews, and advance IAM, data protection and network security within the cloud landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 5+ years of information security experience with strong cloud security focus.
• Proven design/implementation experience on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles, services and architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure cloud architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Define and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Develop IAM, data protection, and network security solutions for cloud environments.
• Conduct security reviews of cloud deployments and applications.
• Collaborate with development and operations to integrate security into CI/CD.
• Develop incident response plans for cloud environments.
• Stay current with cloud security threats and technologies relevant to Randburg.
