Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Architect to lead design and implementation of next-generation network infrastructure for a global, remote-first team. You will architect scalable, resilient networks spanning LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity to support our telecommunications services.

The role requires 10+ years in network engineering, deep TCP/IP knowledge, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and strong security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering and architecture.
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and other routing protocols.
• Proven experience with SD-WAN, network virtualization, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of network security principles and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
