The ideal candidate holds an MSW with a valid SA clinical license and at least five years of post-graduate psychotherapy experience, including telehealth delivery and robust documentation practices.

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program and active clinical license in SA or applicable jurisdiction.
• Minimum 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience providing psychotherapy.
• Proficient in multiple modalities including CBT, DBT and psychodynamic approaches.
• Experience delivering services via telehealth with secure documentation.
• Strong diagnostic, assessment and virtual rapport-building skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a highly respected mental health service provider, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Remote Clinical Social Worker. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to deliver essential therapeutic services to clients across various locations from the comfort of your own home. You will conduct assessments, provide individual and group therapy, and develop treatment plans for clients experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and unrestricted professional clinical social work license (e.g., LCSW) in South Africa or relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience providing psychotherapy and counseling.
• Demonstrated expertise in various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Psychodynamic Therapy).
• Proven experience delivering services via telehealth or remote platforms.
• Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport virtually.
• High level of proficiency with EMR systems and secure telehealth platforms.
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a private, secure workspace conducive to confidential therapy sessions.
