Placements24 is seeking a Chemical Process Scale-Up Specialist to bridge lab discoveries to commercial production in a fully remote setting. You will develop scale-up strategies from laboratory to pilot and production, design pilot operations, optimize mass and energy balances, and coordinate technology transfer with global teams using advanced digital tools.

Competenze

• Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in chemical process development and scale-up.
• Proven success in scaling up diverse chemical processes, including batch and continuous operations.
• Strong knowledge of reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat/mass transfer.
• Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, CHEMCAD).
• Experience with pilot plant design, operation, and data analysis.
• Excellent understanding of process safety principles and hazard analysis techniques.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional remote collaboration and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex scale-up projects effectively.
