Placements24 is seeking a talented Chemical Engineer for a fully remote role focused on designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes across global teams. You will drive projects from concept to implementation, ensuring efficiency, safety and scalability of production lines.

The role requires a degree in chemical engineering, 6+ years in process design and project engineering, and strong skills in process simulation software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with chemical process design and project engineering.
• Proficiency in process simulation and design software.
• Experience scaling up chemical processes.
• Excellent remote collaboration skills.
• Strong knowledge of safety principles and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual and detailed PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform mass and energy balance calculations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and techno-economic evaluations.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, vendors and operations.
• Develop operating procedures and support commissioning/startup.
• Keep abreast of new technologies in chemical processing.
