Job summary

Somewhere in Johannesburg is seeking a detail-oriented CAD/Rendering Designer to transform concepts into accurate 2D/3D site plans, product drawings, and photo-realistic renderings. You will work with our Senior CAD designer on client proposals, manufacturing, and permitting.

Responsibilities include creating scaled site plans, 3D models for commercial playgrounds, refining CAD models for product pages, producing presentation-ready renderings, and drafting site layouts for city submissions.

Qualifications

Qualification in Industrial Design, Architecture, CAD Drafting, Landscape Architecture, or related technical field.
2+ years of drafting and 3D rendering experience in relevant sectors.
Advanced in AutoCAD (2D drafting & layout).

Responsibilities

Create scaled 2D site plans and 3D models for commercial playgrounds, shade structures, courts, and surfacing.
Support marketing by refining CAD models for product pages on our online store.
Produce high-quality 3D renderings and client presentation decks with accurate textures and contexts.
Draft structural drawings, detail sheets, and site layouts for city submittals and permitting.
Collaborate with sales, project managers, and manufacturers to adapt themes to client site dimensions.
Adjust designs based on client feedback, safety, or budget constraints.
