Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Architectural Drafter in Midrand, Gauteng to translate designs into precise drawings and documentation. You''ll collaborate with architects and project managers on a hybrid schedule with in-office days in Midrand and remote work flexibility.

Responsibilities include producing floor plans, elevations, sections, detailing with AutoCAD, assisting with construction documents, updating drawings per changes, and supporting BOQ preparation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in architectural technology or drafting.
• Proven experience as an architectural drafter.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed architectural drawings: floor plans, elevations, sections, details.
• Prepare construction documents, tender drawings, and presentation materials.
• Revise drawings based on project changes and feedback.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings and documentation.
• Maintain organized digital drawing files and project records.
• Collaborate with project team to resolve drafting queries.
• Conduct quality checks for adherence to standards.
• Assist in BOQ preparation as required.
