Placements24 is expanding its online higher education delivery by hiring an experienced Online Tutor in Business Studies. The role is fully remote, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students with lectures, feedback, and mentorship from a home office.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in a business field and at least 4 years of tertiary teaching experience, with familiarity in Blackboard, Canvas or Moodle.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in business-related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience teaching or tutoring at tertiary level.
• Proven online teaching experience and student mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging online lectures and facilitate virtual class discussions on business topics.
• Provide detailed and constructive feedback on student assignments, case studies and projects.
• Offer individualized academic support and coaching to students via email, chat and video conferencing.
• Develop and update course materials, ensuring alignment with industry trends and academic standards.
• Monitor student progress and engagement, intervening when necessary to provide support.
• Design and administer online assessments to gauge student understanding and mastery.
• Foster a collaborative and interactive online learning community.
• Respond promptly to student inquiries and administrative requests.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of online business courses and teaching methodologies.
• Maintain high standards of academic integrity and professionalism.
