Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking ambitious Sales Development Representatives to join across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith for potential clients.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to run thoughtful outbound campaigns, build pipeline, and contribute to fast-growing B2B tech partnerships from home across SA.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role or similar
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator/SalesLoft/Apollo/ZoomInfo)
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline
• Gritty, curious and coachable

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
