Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors and build pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

This full-time, remote role requires strong written communication and proficiency with outbound tools. You'll work with LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit ambitious volume goals while maintaining high quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
