Job summary

ReWorks Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with hands-on QuickBooks experience for a remote position in South Africa. You will maintain financial records, process payables and receivables, reconcile accounts, and support month-end reporting from a client-focused perspective.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly in English, stays organized, and can manage multiple priorities independently while ensuring accurate, up-to-date accounts and financial statements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar bookkeeping role
• Hands-on experience using QuickBooks is essential.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Clear, confident and professional telephone manner
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping entries
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and financial statements
• Manage invoices, payments and expense records
• Assist with month-end reporting and financial documentation
• Maintain organised and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial transactions
• Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers and internal teams
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as required
