Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Smart Contract Auditor for a fully remote role. You will audit Solidity and other smart contracts, identify vulnerabilities, and report findings to clients worldwide to ensure security across blockchain networks.

You will use Slither, MythX, and Echidna, stay current on threats, and communicate complex issues clearly. Prior remote contracting experience and a portfolio of audits are a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in auditing smart contracts for security vulnerabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Solidity and blockchain concepts.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity, Vyper, or other relevant languages.
• Identify vulnerabilities, bugs, and potential exploits within smart contract codebases.
• Utilize various static and dynamic analysis tools to detect security flaws.
• Provide detailed, actionable reports to clients outlining identified risks and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify findings and assist in remediation efforts.
• Stay current with the latest smart contract security best practices, common vulnerabilities, and attack vectors.
• Contribute to the development of internal audit tools and methodologies.
• Maintain a high level of technical expertise in blockchain security and smart contract development.
• Effectively communicate complex technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
