Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Smart Contract Auditor to join a globally distributed security team. You will audit Solidity/Vyper contracts, identify vulnerabilities, and guide remediation with clear reports.

You will work independently from anywhere, employing tools like Slither, Mythril, Securify, Hardhat, and Truffle, while staying current on new attack vectors to help secure blockchain applications. This role emphasizes high accuracy, rapid learning, and strong written communication.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart contract development and auditing with a portfolio of audited projects.
• Strong knowledge of Solidity and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Experience with security analysis tools and auditing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts.
• Identify vulnerabilities including reentrancy, overflows, gas issues, and access control flaws.
• Analyze contract logic for economic exploits and unintended consequences.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of smart contract code.
• Develop and utilize testing frameworks to verify contract functionality and security.
• Document audit findings clearly and concisely with remediation guidance.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain risks and remediation steps.
• Stay updated on vulnerabilities and best practices; contribute to internal tooling.
