Placements24 is seeking a Remote Blockchain Platform Lead to guide the architecture, development, and strategy of a high-impact blockchain platform. You will lead a globally distributed team of engineers, shaping scalable and secure infrastructure while driving innovation and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software engineering and leadership in blockchain, with deep knowledge of Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos, and smart contracts.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering and architecture with blockchain focus.
• 5+ years in leadership, preferably managing remote teams.
• Deep knowledge of Ethereum, Polkadot, Cosmos and smart contracts.
• Proven experience designing, building, and scaling large blockchain platforms.
• Strong cryptography, security, and network security fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical roadmap and strategy for the core blockchain platform.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed team of engineers and architects.
• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of blockchain infrastructure and protocols.
• Ensure security, scalability, performance, and reliability of the platform.
• Collaborate with product, research, and other engineering teams to align platform development with business goals.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and remote development processes.
• Conduct architectural reviews and technology evaluations for new blockchain solutions.
• Manage external partner and vendor relationships.
• Communicate technical vision and progress to executive leadership.
