Placements24 is seeking a Remote Bioinformatician to join its genomics research team. In this fully remote role, you will analyze large-scale sequencing data and contribute to disease mechanisms, drug discovery and personalized medicine from a distributed global team.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD or MSc in a quantitative field, has experience with Python/R and HPC environments, and can collaborate across biology, computation and clinical groups.

• Collaborate with research scientists to design experiments, interpret results, and generate hypotheses.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of databases for storing and managing genomic data.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, and computational biology.

Requirements
