Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data (e.g., RNA-Seq, WGS, ChIP-Seq).
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns, biomarkers, and biological insights from complex omics datasets.
• Collaborate closely with experimental biologists to design studies, interpret results, and guide future research directions.
• Manage and curate large biological databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for research purposes.
• Contribute to the development of novel algorithms and software tools for bioinformatics analysis and visualization.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in bioinformatics or computational biology research.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with relevant bioinformatics libraries and tools.
• Expertise in handling and analyzing large genomic and proteomic datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team environment.
