Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced BIM Manager for a fully remote position on a global client base. You will lead the strategic implementation of BIM standards, manage distributed teams, and drive digital construction initiatives across large-scale projects.

The role requires deep BIM expertise (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC), strong leadership, and a track record with international BIM standards. Remote-first work with advanced collaboration tools and global partnerships is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of BIM management experience on large-scale projects.
• Expert proficiency in leading BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC).
• Strong understanding of international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
• Experience in developing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, particularly in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the organization.
• Coordinate BIM models from design through construction and handover.
• Provide technical leadership and support to project teams on BIM-related issues.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM content libraries and standards.
• Conduct BIM training and capacity building for internal staff and external partners.
• Ensure data integrity and quality control of all BIM deliverables.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and advocate for their adoption.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define BIM requirements and execution plans.
• Manage BIM software licenses and technical support.
• Facilitate virtual collaboration and communication among project teams.
