About the Role

Our client is a leading construction consultancy looking for a skilled and organized Remote BIM Coordinator to join their globally distributed team. This position is crucial for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various international projects, with a focus on enhancing collaboration and data management for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of BIM software, standards, and workflows, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of BIM models, facilitating information exchange between project teams, and supporting the implementation of BIM strategies. Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage BIM models and data across multiple construction projects for remote operations. Ensure BIM models adhere to project requirements, company standards, and industry best practices. Facitate clash detection and resolution among various discipline models (architectural, structural, MEP). Support project teams in the effective use of BIM software and workflows. Develop and maintain BIM execution plans (BEPs) in collaboration with project stakeholders. Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM-related matters. Manage the collection, organization, and distribution of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle. Implement quality control procedures for BIM models to ensure accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to resolve BIM-related issues. Stay updated with the latest developments in BIM technology and recommend enhancements to workflows.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM coordination and management. Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud. Strong understanding of BIM standards, protocols (e.g., ISO 19650), and workflows. Excellent knowledge of different construction disciplines and how they integrate within a BIM environment. Proven ability to manage complex BIM projects remotely. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse, international teams. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience with 4D and 5D BIM (scheduling and cost integration) is a plus.
