Placements24 is seeking a highly proficient BIM Architect for a remote role based in Rustenburg, North West. The candidate will drive BIM adoption, develop standards, workflows and templates, and train design teams.

You will lead BIM coordination with structural and MEP disciplines, manage BEPs, and stay abreast of BIM tech to enhance project delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's in Architecture, 6+ years in architecture with 4+ in BIM, and expert Revit skills; remote collaboration across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in architectural practice with at least 4 years BIM implementation.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and knowledge of Navisworks/Dynamo.
• Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
• Experience working remotely across locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for architectural projects.
• Create and maintain high-quality BIM models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
• Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines; resolve clashes.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance BIM capabilities of staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate BIM into project lifecycles from concept to construction docs.
• Develop and manage BIM content libraries, including families and components.
• Stay current with BIM tech and industry trends; recommend workflow improvements.
• Ensure BIM deliverables meet project specifications and quality standards.
