Placements24 is seeking a Remote BIM Architect specializing in parametric design to join a fully remote team. You will develop parametric families, automate workflows, and implement BIM processes across projects, collaborating with global teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Architecture and 6+ years in advanced BIM/parametric design, with Grasshopper, Dynamo, Revit, and Python proficiency. This remote role offers flexible hours and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Professional Architect registration is advantageous.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 4 years focused on advanced BIM and parametric design.
• Expert proficiency in parametric modeling software (Grasshopper, Dynamo) and related platforms.
• Strong experience with BIM software (Revit) and its API.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python) is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of architectural principles, building codes, and construction processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage complex parametric families and scripts for architectural elements and systems.
• Implement and optimize BIM workflows for projects, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate parametric solutions into project designs.
• Create and maintain comprehensive BIM models, ensuring adherence to project standards and LOD requirements.
• Develop custom tools and plugins to enhance design automation and analysis.
• Conduct performance simulations and analyses using BIM data.
• Provide training and technical support to project teams on BIM and parametric design tools.
• Stay current with advancements in BIM technology, parametric design software, and computational design.
• Document workflows, standards, and best practices for parametric modeling and BIM.
