Job summary

Blacksmith Agency in South Africa is seeking Sales Development Representatives to own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and shaping the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will use LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and outbound tools to build accurate contact lists, personalize outreach, and maintain clean Salesforce records, with a focus on thoughtful, high-quality communication and consistent pipeline growth

Qualifications

2 years in SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication; ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
