Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a remote Automotive Software Developer (Backend) to design, build, and maintain backend systems powering ADAS and connected car solutions. The role is fully remote and requires collaboration with a distributed engineering team to deliver scalable services.

You will work with Python, Java, or Go, deploy cloud-based infrastructures on AWS/Azure/GCP, and ensure robust data handling, security, and API design while advancing automotive software capabilities from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• 3+ years in backend software development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and databases.
• Strong RESTful API and microservices knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and APIs.
• Write clean code in Python, Java, or Go.
• Manage cloud infrastructure for backend services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and maintain databases for data integrity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate server-side logic.
• Implement security and data protection in backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing software systems.
