The ideal candidate holds SACAA AME with Avionics rating, has 5+ years of hands-on experience, and demonstrates strong remote communication to guide on-site staff while staying current with regulatory updates.
Qualifications
- SACAA AME license with Avionics rating.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on avionic experience.
- Knowledge of glass cockpits, FMS, GPS, radios, and autopilot.
- Proficient with avionic diagnostic equipment and software.
- Strong electrical systems and wiring schematic understanding.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong remote communication and self-motivation.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote troubleshooting and repair of avionic systems.
- Analyze maintenance logs and data to diagnose issues.
- Develop remote troubleshooting procedures for on-site staff.
- Guide on-site teams through complex repairs.
- Stay current with avionic tech, updates, regs.
- Evaluate new avionic equipment and tech.
- Maintain records of remote activities and findings.
- Contribute to process/tool improvements.
