Placements24 is assisting a global aviation services leader in recruiting a Remote Aviation Compliance Officer for South Africa. This fully remote role ensures operations stay compliant with ICAO, SACAA, EASA, and FAA standards while upholding the highest safety and quality benchmarks.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in aviation compliance, strong auditing experience, and the ability to implement comprehensive compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in aviation compliance or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of ICAO, SACAA, EASA, FAA regulations and SMS.
• Proven experience in audits and developing compliance strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with compliance management software and standard office applications.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• High integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations and standards, providing guidance on compliance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies.
• Conduct internal audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to regulations and internal procedures.
• Investigate potential compliance issues, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
• Develop and deliver compliance training to employees across various departments.
• Stay updated on changes in aviation laws and regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure regulatory requirements are integrated into business processes.
• Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies on compliance matters.
