Placements24 is seeking a creative and user-focused Remote Automotive UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive experiences for vehicle infotainment and connected car apps. You will translate complex needs into elegant interfaces and work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a portfolio showcasing digital product design, preferably in automotive or complex interactive systems.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Familiarity with automotive infotainment systems and connected car technologies is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for automotive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design system and style guides for digital automotive products.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and optimal implementation of designs.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Present design concepts and rationale clearly to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
