Job summary
Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Tester to ensure reliability of automotive software and hardware. You will develop test plans, execute various test types, document results, and collaborate with engineers to ensure quality across systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven software QA testing experience, preferably in automotive or complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with automotive systems or embedded software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for automotive software and hardware.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to identify defects.
- Document results, report bugs with steps to reproduce, and track fixes.
- Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and testing needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes in a remote setting.
