Qualifications

About the Role Our client is a forward-thinking automotive company seeking a highly motivated and analytical Remote Automotive Data Analyst & Performance Specialist to join their innovative team. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting vast amounts of automotive data, including vehicle performance metrics, customer feedback, and market trends. Your insights will directly influence product development, strategic decision-making, and the continuous improvement of vehicle performance and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong quantitative background, a passion for the automotive industry, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process large datasets related to vehicle performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction from various sources.
• Develop and implement data models and algorithms to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in automotive data.
• Analyze vehicle performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, emissions, engine performance, and component longevity.
• Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, and executive teams.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand data requirements and support root cause analysis of performance issues.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities through data analysis to identify new opportunities and potential risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Data Analyst, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), R, SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and experimental design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.
