Job summary

Placements24 seeks a vigilant Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard connected vehicle platforms and related infrastructure. You will identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats within the automotive ecosystem from a remote workspace.

Responsibilities include monitoring for breaches, performing vulnerability tests, and developing security policies while collaborating with engineering to secure the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis, ideally embedded/auto.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, network security, cryptography, and threat modeling.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners and firewalls.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols CAN, UDS, Ethernet and their security implications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and intrusions.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive software and hardware.
• Develop security policies and best practices to mitigate threats.
• Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze threat intelligence and stay updated on automotive cyber risks.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in product development.
