Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard the connected vehicle ecosystem in a fully remote capacity. You will design, implement and manage cybersecurity strategies for in-vehicle networks, conduct threat assessments, and respond to security incidents.

You will leverage expertise in automotive communication protocols, security tooling, and incident response to protect next‑generation vehicles while collaborating with engineering teams across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on automotive systems.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
• CISSP, CISM, or automotive security certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies for connected vehicles and platforms.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, pen testing, and risk analysis for automotive systems.
• Monitor security alerts and investigate threats and incidents.
• Design and deploy security controls including IDS/IPS and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate security into the vehicle development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on automotive cybersecurity threats and industry regulations.
