Job summary

Placements24 seeks a skilled Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster digital defenses for connected vehicle systems. You will work remotely to identify threats, assess risks, and mitigate incidents across automotive infrastructure.

Responsibilities include monitoring networks, conducting vulnerability tests, and collaborating with engineering to embed security throughout the development lifecycle, with a focus on ISO 21434 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst with embedded or IoT security advantage.
• Strong knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards (ISO 21434, UN R155).

Responsibilities

• Monitor automotive networks and systems for security breaches and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and create remediation plans.
• Develop incident response plans for automotive systems.
• Analyze threat intelligence and security trends to pre-empt risks.
• Collaborate with engineering to embed security in the vehicle lifecycle.
