Job summary

Placements24 seeks a vigilant Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to safeguard connected vehicle platforms and related infrastructure. You will identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity threats within the automotive ecosystem from a remote workspace.

Responsibilities include monitoring for breaches, performing vulnerability tests, and developing security policies while collaborating with engineering to secure the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity analysis, ideally embedded/auto.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, network security, cryptography, and threat modeling.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners and firewalls.
• Knowledge of automotive protocols CAN, UDS, Ethernet and their security implications.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills for remote work.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities within the automotive ecosystem. This is a fully remote position, enabling you to leverage your expertise in cybersecurity to protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of vehicle systems, contributing to a secure future for mobility from your own workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and malicious activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive software, hardware, and communication systems.
