Placements24 seeks an Automation Engineer to enhance manufacturing efficiency by designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced automation systems at a Richards Bay facility. You will design automated controls, program PLCs, develop HMI/SCADA solutions, and integrate robotics to improve throughput and reliability.

The role requires a strong engineering background, hands-on experience with Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLCs, and a passion for cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Experience with robotic systems (FANUC, KUKA) and their integration.
