Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking an Audit Senior (CaseWare) to lead end-to-end audits within CaseWare for a simulated portfolio of SME clients. You will plan, execute, and document every step, shaping AI learning by recording decisions and judgments from workpapers.

This is a long-term, permanent role reporting to the founding team and AI partner. You bring at least 3 years of external audit experience, hands-on CaseWare Working Papers, and a genuine interest in teaching audit work to machines.

Qualifications

• BCom in Accounting with completed or near-completed SAICA/SAIPA training contract.
• At least 3 years of external audit experience, end-to-end engagements.
• Hands-on CaseWare Working Papers proficiency including file setup and TB import.

Responsibilities

• Plan engagements, set up CaseWare, import TBs and roll forward balances.
• Perform fieldwork: test controls, revenue, expenses, payroll, and disposals.
• Document conclusions and working papers; obtain client records as needed.
• Prepare draft reports, coordinate with preparation team, and ensure timely close-out.
