Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative and technically proficient Architectural Designer to join their fully remote team near Paarl. You will focus on conceptual development and detailed design of innovative projects, collaborating with project managers and senior architects to produce drawings, models, and presentations.

Requirements include a Bachelor or Master of Architecture (or equivalent), 3–5 years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion or V-Ray.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (Lumion/V-Ray).
• Strong conceptual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent graphic communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage tasks in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine architectural design concepts, ensuring aesthetic quality and functional performance.
• Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualizations using industry-standard software.
• Prepare presentation materials for client meetings and design reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the design.
• Conduct research on materials, building technologies, and sustainability strategies.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documentation and specifications under supervision.
